You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a major credit card, and a certificate of insurance that covers the total replacement value of the requested gear. For gear valued under $2,500, we can place a credit card hold for the full replacement value instead. We also require industry references. Need coverage? See the next question.
Every rental needs a certificate of insurance covering the full replacement value of the gear. For smaller rentals (gear valued under $2,500), we can place a credit card hold for the full replacement value instead. If you don’t have a policy, we partner with Athos Insurance to get you covered fast.

Short-term or annual production insurance, special events, and drone coverage. Options include general liability for locations and permits, rented equipment, rented autos, and workers’ comp.
A one-day rental covers your full shoot day, with pickup the afternoon before and return the morning after. Pick up between 12pm and 5pm the day before your shoot, and return by 12pm the day after. Pick up Monday, shoot Tuesday, return Wednesday.
Yes. A week (seven consecutive days) is billed at three days’ rate. For monthly rentals, get in touch for a quote.

Yes. We’re an official distributor of Kodak motion picture film in 16mm and Super 8. Shop Kodak film.
Yes. We CLA and service every Bolex H16 model, from the Rex-1 through Rex-5 to the EBM, EL and SBM, and we accept mail-in repairs nationwide (contact us first). A full CLA is $800 plus parts. Other repairs start with a $350 bench fee for diagnosis, which is applied toward your repair. Turnaround is typically 6–8 weeks. Bolex repair details.
Yes. A Super 16 conversion is $1,000. We machine the film gate and modify the viewfinder for the wider Super 16 frame, and every conversion includes a full CLA. It’s permanent, so talk to us about your project before booking. Bolex repair details.
Yes, we rent 16mm film projectors. See projector rentals.
